Born in Barnes KS 1946…grew up on family farm spent many years around sale barns and Auctions. Moved to Topeka, 1964
Successful Barber/Hairstylist in Topeka for 10 years, entered styling competitions, competed internationally, representing the USA, one of 6 selected in the United States for this honor; Did styling shows for Redken Hair products around the US.
Started in Real Estate 1974 became broker 1982 with own office and up to 20 agents.
Added an auction Company to his office.; In 1987 became an auctioneer. …graduating from the Missouri School of Auctioneering in Kansas City….
In 1994 joined with his brother Terry and became AUCTIONS BY: SIMNITT BROTHERS, INC.
Darrell remains active in Auctioneering, specializing in Real Estate Auctions as well as Heavy Equipment Consignment Sales, Farm Sales, Fleet Sales, and Business Liquidation Sales..…
Darrell and his wife Martie live west of Topeka, Kansas.

Martie Simnitt is Darrell’s wife. She has worked in all phases of the company except auctioneering.
She managed Retail Stores and has 20 years in Radio Sales.
Currently is the Bookkeeper and Auction Register for the company.
Mike Robinson
Webmaster/Marketing
Mike began working with AUCTIONS BY: SIMNITT BROTHERS, INC. in 1996 initially helping with mailings and cashiering at the auctions.
Mike currently provides marketing and computer support services through his company All-Star Marketing Solutions including sale bill design, web site design & maintenance, mailings, and advertising management.
Mike is a 1984 graduate of Washburn Rural High School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Washburn University in 1989.
Mike was a manager at American Pre-Sort, Inc. in Topeka from 1988 until 1996.
Mike joined Coldwell Banker Griffith & Blair Realtors as a sales associate in July of 1996 and was licensed until 1999 when he decided to go into the marketing services field full time.
Mike resides in Auburn, Kansas, is married, and has two children.
