1941 Lincoln Zephyr 4-door Sedan Custom

This 1941 Lincoln Zephyr 4-door sedan has undergone a complete ground-up restoration and customization.  Every component has been restored, modified, or reconditioned. There is less than 5,000 miles on the restoration.

Paint and bodywork are in excellent restored show condition, chrome trim and brightwork are near perfect.  The outside of the car maintains the look as it was new from the factory, with the exception of the tires and the wheels being of a modern style and design.  The interior of the car has been upgraded with modern seats and passenger comforts such as air conditioning, modern sound system, and current upholstery materials.  The drivetrain consists of a new era Chevrolet 350 8-cylinder gas engine with fuel injection, 5-speed Camaro manual transmission, and Ford 9-inch rear end.  Front suspension is the original design that has been upgraded with a modern Mustang rack and pinion power steering system and disk brakes.  The cooling system, charging system, and wiring are all custom built to current standards. There is an AM-FM CD player.

This car is capable of being driven anywhere, any time, making it as versatile as a modern car, yet retaining its original exterior styling and appearance.

1941 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL V-12, 2-DOOR COUPE

This 1941 Lincoln Continental 2-door coupe would be considered as a driver quality, occasional use, parade vehicle.  its condition shows that it has been a complete vehicle for its lifespan, and has been maintained for limited use.  ‘

It has not been used as a parts donor and has been kept complete.  it may have been cosmetically restored decades ago with minor body repairs before painting. Chrome and trim appear to be original pieces that show normal aging.  With attention, the exterior finish will clean up and be presentable for a driver quality vehicle.  The interior has been partially restored with new set upholstery, door panels, and carpet.  Gauges and metalwork inside the car appear to be in original condition and if restored would make the interior excuse free.  Engine and drivetrain appear to be original maintained items and functional.  Tires are period correct replacements yet aged to the point of limited use.

This car could be considered as a completely operational older restoration showing wear, that is functional inside and out.  This is a nice appearing unmodified car that is roadworthy on a limited basis –special functions locally and parades, car shows, etc.

The seller has health issues and needs to sell.

The vehicle was appraised in 2017.  The appraiser commented: “On a 1-5 scale, 1 being a museum piece and a 5 being restorable and non-operational, this car would be a 3.  Its value on a the open market would land in the $27,000 range.”
